Naked as the Day We Were Born.
A very happy birthday to my co-author and best friend Annika - may this year be happier, more exiting, and more amazing than the last (which is asking a lot.) I love you girl and I'm so lucky you were born!
Now let's go dancing :)

O, I Left My Heart...
This is where A and I first met...about a year before. The Painted Ladies are looking especially perky here don't you think?

Things To Do Today....

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.

Do it like the locusts do.
I woke up this morning to a beautiful day in the Hollywood Hills, finally got my ass out of bed and into my tin can car to putter off and get coffee...only to find TEN MILLION PEOPLE ON HOLLYWOOD AND FRANKLIN! It took me twenty minutes to get to the Starbucks on the corner for my latte. We definitely need a new plague.
Somewhere under the sea and beyond our imagination

Since my arrival in El Lay, I've spent a lot of time in San Pedro where I have taken a number of trips to it's rock covered coast. I've come to the realization the ocean holds a lot of emotion for both Anna and I, but for completely different reasons. It's her home, her rock, her anchor.

For me, it's more along the lines of a dysfunctional relationship, I respect and adore the sea but then again I terrifies me to no end. Although, I think we can all agree the majestic rolling waves and the cerulean hue gives us all kinds of chills. PLUS it's where the Little Mermaid was filmed :)

A Birthday Present to Myself

Setting up house on a new and wonderful adventure with my best friend in the whole wide world. This blog will serve as a library for my collection of sweet nothings found on the internet, a sounding board between the two of us, and hopefully something to amuse you with as you read the paper and have a cup of coffee on Sunday mornings.
Here's to a new year and a new endeavor!
